Beta privacy & deletion

Safar is an invitation-only beta. Google or email-code sign-in is handled by Supabase. The email service delivers your code. Safar keeps a verified email and account identifier to connect your saved places, trips and community contributions.

Saved places and trip notes are private to your account. Community posts and your chosen display name are visible to approved members. The owner can review reports and recent messages, remove messages and suspend community access. Do not post sensitive personal details.

Feedback is visible to the owner and includes your account ID and the section you were using. Safar does not attach browser history, screenshots or files. Security cookies keep you signed in. Language, currency and theme preferences stay in your browser; chat drafts stay only in page memory. Hashed email/IP rate-limit counters help prevent sign-in abuse.

Your posts, reports and feedback remain until you delete them or the owner removes them. Marking feedback reviewed does not erase it. Community deletion removes your contributions from the active database and clears reply links to deleted messages. Other people's replies and copies made outside Safar remain. Provider backups and logs may retain information under their own retention settings.

Moderation records and suspensions are separate: deleting content does not undo a suspension. Saved places and trip boards have a separate deletion control inside your account. Contact the person who invited you for account deletion or help after access is removed.

No payment is required for this beta. External booking sites, maps, source links and Google Fonts have their own policies.
